Ballina Stephenites Club Membership Registration open for 2021   06/01/2021

Volunteers are the life and soul of every GAA Club. The GAA is unrivalled in terms of the number of volunteers that provide endless hours of service to the Association’s many GAA Clubs. Throughout the world, GAA volunteers undertake the administration of clubs, coaching of teams, washing of jerseys, the lining of playing pitches, the transportation of players to and from games, the organisation of fundraising initiatives in addition to performing a host of other specialised tasks. Without volunteers, clubs and the GAA cannot function. Being involved in the GAA gives a sense of fulfillment which is unrivaled. It brings membership of the biggest club in Ireland, puts one right at the heart of Irish culture and provides a pastime for every member of the family.
Club membership is open to Adult Players, Adult Non-Players, Juvenile Players and Families. New Members are always welcome. By becoming a member, you accept the club’s CODE OF BEHAVIOUR and agree to abide by the rules of Cumann Lúthchleas Gael.

Ballina Stephenites GAA Club is a community-based club where everyone is welcome to join. We develop and promote Gaelic Games and promote individual development and well-being and strive to enable all of our members to achieve their full potential in their chosen roles.
The club provides the youth of the community a chance to develop in a positive sporting environment while learning the values of teamwork and developing their social skills. Our club provides a safe place to enjoy sports and make friends. The personal development of all its youngsters is an important goal of the club through commitment, personal dedication and discipline.

The Club has a long tradition, and it is hoped that we can continue that well into the future. The development of young players and our ambition to provide facilities for both our members and the community at large, is vital to ensure the club will be here for many years to come.
Membership is a vital part of ensuring the club’s continued success and development.
Whether you are a player, coach, supporter, parent of a player or member of the wider community, we welcome all new members.
The monies received is funnelled towards: the maintenance of facilities, playing equipment, affiliation fees, insurance, utility bills, team preparation and the many administrative costs in running sports facilities.
