James Stephens Camogie Club 2013

James Stephens Camogie Club started in June of 2013 with support and guidance of Séamus Hurley (James Stephens Hurling Club) and Caroline Murray (Regional Development Officer).

The club was officially launched on 28th October, 2013 with a Halloween party for all members, friends and families with a disco, fancy-dress and games. The night was great success, and well deserved for all the hard work put in by the young players in the clubs first season.

To present we have 35 members with numbers growing every week.
Allison Leneghan and Trish Healy coach our Under 8 team.
Chrissy Garrett and Kathleen Swift coach Under 10 team.

We attended our first blitz in September 2013 in Tooreen on a very wet and wild morning and played a friendly game in Crossmolina a few weeks later. This gave our players their first taste of camogie games and what’s to come for 2014 season.
